They will just ignore it.

I know that they will cause alot of damage before they are done, but part of me wants to let them take all the rope they want, and whenever a liberal Democrat runs again their opponent can bring up this disaster and almost assure themself a victory. The trick will be to keep the remaining pols as fiscal conservatives and not let them become out of control like they did under President Bush.
