Mom’s Side: Too fucking Complicated to explain. Generally, my mom’s side would marry into the shiny new immigrant group that was coming in. The ethnicities included are Irish, Scottish, Scots-Irish, Welsh, English, French, Alsatian, Dutch, German, Swiss, Polish, and Slovakian. However, the records in a lot of places are gone, so there may have been more cobbling.

I’ve claimed here before that most of us on LGF are likely related if we’re willing to go back at least 10 generations. As for you and I, I suspect it would be less than 10 generations.
