Those are among the most important for me too. Every time I hear a would be Republican president talk about how we need more judges like Scalia or Alito on the bench, I just know I have yet another reason to vote for his Democratic opponent. Obama’s judiciary picks have been pretty solid in their own right too. I like both Kagan and Sotomayor.

The Supreme Court was my one and only rallying point for the 2004 elections. I talked till I was blue in the face, trying to convince people how very important it was going to be and why we HAD to elect a Democrat.

And we didn’t; and we got Roberts and Alito. Spit.
