Todd tweeted in response to Media Matters research fellow Oliver Willis that Buchanan will be on the show “as part of a Trump segment. Trump 2015 and Buchanan 1992 share a lot of similarities on issues.”

Is that supposed to be a good or a bad thing to Chuck Todd?

Neither - he doesn’t care about good/bad. He’s in it for the ratings, pure and simple. He thinks he’ll get higher ratings by appealing to the haters in the right wing base. He likes to pretend otherwise, but that’s all it is. There’s no other reason to have this cretin on his show, after he was freaking FIRED from MSNBC.
