Fruitcakes make good doorstops. Even our (now deceased) dog wouldn’t eat fruitcake, and he would eat anything.

I don’t think I’d mind fruitcake if I ever found any actual fruit in it. Whatever that unnatural red, green, and yellow stuff in it is, it can’t have grown on a tree.
