Did something that turned out to be foolish and am now hoping someone here has a suggestion that will not require me to buy an external keyboard….which two stores have already advised me is my only option.

My computer is an ancient Lenovo laptop. My c key is “broken” and will not stay attached. Any suggestions?

Is there a nib sticking up that allows you to press the key and have it be recognised? If so, you should be able to find a blank keycap and replace it. If not, then the external keyboard will be your best solution. Is it old enough to be PS/2 or can you use USB?
