The backlash when today’s elementary and middle school students grow up is going to be fearsome. Compared to Repug/Evangelical indoctrination, the establishment line of the Eisenhower era was pretty mild stuff. Yet it was enough to generate the counter-culture and the various upheavals of the 60s in response. What will we see in 2040, when the young people of Muddle America realize they were systematically lied to about everything from STDs to slavery?
