I remember hearing about her misusing funds during the campaign. This is one of those “shiny object” moments. People were so busy focusing on her weird statements, that the accusations of her being a grifter were ignored.

I can’t wait until all of the stories about the grifters who actually won their elections start coming out. They stayed under the radar because we were too busy focusing on nutcase Senate candidates. The political environment and the whole TP movement has no doubt allowed for many crooks to make it into Congress. That happens a lot with wave elections. People who never should have made it into office get swept in.
