That is mind-blowing: a PROVEN TRACK RECORD OF VOTING FOR CONSERVATIVES. So I guess moderate Republicans are now totally out of the loop. And so much for that whole concept of “objective journalists.” Why don’t they call these “debates” what they are—free airtime for campaign speeches. Wish we could go back to when the League of Women Voters did the debates.

Also, didn’t Keith Olbermann and somebody else at MSNBC get in trouble for supporting a Dem candidate? (And they weren’t even “debate” moderators.)

Here’s an idea, just have the candidates pick a topic they want to talk about, give them two minutes, them let them challenge one of the others to address the same issue for two minutes, let the first guy respond, then give each of the others a minute or so to put their two cents in. Then they can quit whining about the media and talk to the people about the issues they think are important. Give random audience members and the viewing audience a chance to ask questions as well.
