Would someone explain the “Ron Howard narrator” thing.

The Ron Howard narrator thing is from the show Arrested Development, where he plays a disembodied third person omniscient narrator who frequently provides mocking commentary to the self absorbed goings on of the once rich but now disgraced and much poorer members of the Bluth family.

It is, /was a great show you should pick it up on DVD sometime.
