Build Back should have passed months ago. It looks like he is going to kill it just to prove he’s “independent”.

Biden’s presidency is starting to look fatally damaged now. Even after control of both houses, he has moved 2 bills through congress in 10 months, and the last one after a nightmarish extended public fight. His signature bill isn’t moving at all. Meanwhile, the GOP are getting a 50 year policy dream handed to them by their paid for black robe legislature.

Biden isn’t on TV selling BBB. Nobody is selling it. We see the public, knock down drag out fights in the Dem caucus and nothing else. The DOJ appears to be sitting on their hands WRT the Trump cabal and investigating the coup.

I had hopes for this presidency, and this isn’t what I hoped for.

We needed a Churchill. Gin and all if need be. Hell even a late 1938 Chamberlain.

I don’t know what we have now.
