There is a homophobe fundie organisation whose leader (poss also founder) has spent lots of times attending gay clubs, gay fetish conventions, and watching gay porn…all in the name of ‘research’. His excessively detailed descriptions of his ‘observations’ betray an…uh, overwhelming dedication, let’s say.

It’s not one of the big or famous organisations; I’ll see if I can remember the guy and dig up a link later.

His name is Peter LaBarbera, head of Americans For “Truth” About Homosexuality. (Quotes are mine.)

Not only does the excellent blog Box Turtle Bulletin have an award satirically named after him, but just last year, he decided to email an unprovoked attack against a gay man who was getting married in Connecticut—legally.

He is a nasty little man and a real piece of work.
