Agree about Maturin, but every lead in the movies today has to be pretty.

I was thinking about that while obsessively watching the first two seasons of “Dexter” last week. There is not a homely person in there except for the bad guys and the occasional background stroller. You would think that the entire city of Miami is buff, young, pretty and slender, including the skanks at NL meetings.

really? I think Jennifer Carpenter is a great actress but she’s not hawt. I can’t think of anyone in the PD who is terribly attractive, come to think of it…
