Meanwhile, I’m a little surprised that Martin O’Malley’s name has not surfaced as a running mate for HRC. He’s not filling a Senate seat or Governorship so he wouldn’t create an opening someplace. His two-term governorship of Maryland was not completely unblemished, but there is a pretty short supply of unblemished candidates. He would meet the experienced enough threshold, he’s relatively young, pretty progressive.

I thought his name would come up as well. I guess he was hurt by his complete inability to make a favorable impression on anyone during his presidential run.
