The four measures that conservatives backed here in Oregon all went down in flames and the one liberal backed measure passed. DeFazio returns to Washington, our legislature stays Democratic controlled and Kate Brown stays on as governor. All in all a good night here on the central left coast.

I’m already planning on getting after DeFazio to push his colleagues in the House to go after Trump. After a shitload of money and time wasted on fake investigations in the past Republican-controlled House, it’s damned well time for some real investigations. I want to see broken fingers every time the Republicans or White House reaches out to Democrats. Democrats need to use the House to try and reign in the Orange Terror.
