They will scrape by, the Russian populace has always seen it as a sort of virtue to be long-suffering and content with their lot as long as they have enough of the basics: food, heat and vodka.

The Russians I know, don’t. They like cars and can talk your ears off about the details. They like brand name electronics. They like sushi and designer bags. When this stuff dries up they may not know what they can realistically do about it, or who they should blame, but they won’t be content.
