Honestly, even if Trump loses this year, I kinda expect Don Jr to be the nominee come 2028. The GOP is pretty firmly in the grip of the Trump family now, and I don’t see that changing for the foreseeable future.

Maybe, but one would think that losing the presidential popular vote 3 times in a row, and getting beat up in every midterm in between, would be enough to end the Trump era.

It is rather amazing that the GOP has managed to win the presidential popular vote only once since I started high school.
