Her music stinks, but I enjoy her presence. She’s not a blow-up doll, nor a generic Miss America contestant, and she sings about Arthur C. Clarke and Alfred Hitchcock. Her music is trash, but she looks interesting. The fact that she is impressive shows how low the standard is.

She is an extremely talented singer and piano player. You may not like it but that doesn’t show “how low the standard is”.
