Actually he was - It just wasn’t quite right/left defined. Read his manifesto (if you can) - It’s clearly a political document. He had an ideology and consistent (if not coherent) worldview.

He was so way out into The Matrix that his idea of what was going on in the world bore no resemblance to any political party because he was beyond what any current major political party cares about. Except maybe George Will’s “College Girls are falsely reporting rapes to get their sweet, sweet victim cred”

Will is a dinosaur. He looks about 65, but sounds 1000 years old, whether he’s talking about rape or anything else, like fashion. He actually wrote a piece a few years back about the destructive effects of denim jeans on American culture. Apparently the lack of formality of jeans wearers gives him the vapors and makes him fond for the days of Fred Astaire. He’s hilariously retrograde.
