Good: but unfortunately, the partisan imbalance here is likely to be exploited by the usual suspects to cast the shade of “politicization” of mass-shootings onto Democrats.

I wouldn’t be surprised to see a response from one of those Texas GOPers on Tapper’s list along the lines of “See? THEY’RE using a mass tragedy as a foil for cheap political criticism - WE’RE in church praying for the victims”
