I have said for a long time now that right wing expression has been over the top and has escalated. It has to be dealt with firmly and without exception by the GOP. If it isn’t there will be hell to pay.

Do you agree that violent right wing rhetoric makes violence from EITHER wing more likely?

That’s my point. I could just as easily see a left wing whacko doing something like this because he was convinced that the right wingers were gearing up to take over.

It ratchets up the tension, and in a country as large as this, someone is going to take the ball and run with it if you start talking about violence. And it doesn’t necessarily have to be someone who agrees with you.
