There’s actually an assassination a little like that in the game Hitman: Blood Money. The target is an opera singer. His character gets shot by a firing squad so you can switch out the prop pistol for a real one.

In the game the pistol is an C96 Mauser pistol, which we will see again on the big screen in VISMOD form in December.
