re: #156 Great White Snark

How well do you think we will do with a one party system

We have close to a one-party system right now, since one party will do NO business with the other. The GOP are not doing politics anymore, and haven’t since Obama was elected.

The blanket block on appointments of judges and cabinet positions should be the alarm that we are no longer in normal partisan push-and-pull.

The gutting of state-level budgets while more and more concealing the procedures of determining funding—that should be even more alarming, since it’s masking what they do, even from their supporters.

That is rigging the game in ways that influence all Americians lives; it is social engineering and “judicial activism” and overreach.

The GOP is no longer a conservative party. It is a political organization attempting to re-make America in a way that reflects the reactionary beliefs of a small, powerful minority, and to limit transparency and franchise such that noone can complain.
