I think I’ve lost most of the perennial plants in my garden. My lavender looks like it didn’t make it, I’m pretty sure the lemon thyme is gone, so it the catnip. I’m not sure about the Shasta daisies and black-eyed Susans. I guess I won’t know til spring. We’ve had several days where the temps went below 20, which isn’t good for plants not used to that level of cold. On the upside, maybe the cold will kill some of those hideous little stinky beetle things that came here from Asia (I think), they’re bronzed color about the size of a lady bug. They infested the vegetable garden the last few years, I hope they’re gone.

Something like golden tortoise beetles?

I had them in my morning glories - but they were sort of seasonal. Lots for a few weeks while they bred, the larva for a while, and then very few the rest of the summer.
