Chief executive Mark Zuckerberg said it had been “heartbreaking” to see people “hurting themselves and others” in videos streamed live on Facebook.
He added he would make reporting problematic videos easier.
The move follows cases of murder and suicide being broadcast live on the social network.

It might not have occurred to FB when they launched live streaming that it would result in people live-streaming murder/suicides, but on the other hand, they are living in a world and society that FB has helped to shape into its current state

This reminded me. I keep hearing Zuck is still looking into a run for President.
