OT: So I watched first episode of the Amazon Rings of Power series.

I went into it with low expectations so I was not disappointed, in fact it is fine as a TV series and I will probably continue watching it.

But for all the money they put into the production, it lacks the cinematic sweep and love of Tolkien that make the movies so memorable.

Bezos needs a write off. Talk about a loss leader.
