The Supergirl TV series and the Wonder Woman movie have given girls new role models besides Disney’s many princesses and heroines. It’s probably why a lot of RWNJs and MRAs hate both of them.

I’ve been binge-watching Supergirl with Mrs. Fish. It hits a lot of major feminist talking points in a very, how shall I say, palatable fashion. The interplay between the rational, level-headed Kara and the “militant feminist” Cat Grant is a great way to drive home the points without being heavy-handed.
