‘Military action likely’ if Iran talks fail, US spokeswoman says

I find the prospect of military action from the US very unlikely, I suspect the Iranians feel the same.

Now that you mention it, I can’t recall any military action we’ve taken against Iran since the disastrous hostage rescue attempt approved by President Carter in 1980—am I overlooking something?

What I don’t get is the hysteria over them being some sort of existential threat to Israel. I mean Israel is tiny—how they could possibly launch a significant nuclear attack against it without also killing a bunch of Palestinians and possibly even damaging the Dome of the Rock?

It doesn’t make any sense. Seems wayyy too risky for them.
