Not a bad idea, really. Here in Czech Republic, there’s a postal bank. A good service, as even the smallest and most remote villages here have a post office - and thus, a bank as well.

This is a pretty common setup in Europe: cheap, no frills banking at the post office. Works well, so the big US banks would scream like stuck pigs. Might be able to set them up if we get the trifecta.
