Reading Brigitte Gabriel’s Wiki bio reminds me, in a sense, of Ayn Rand. In both cases they had devastating childhood experiences due to violent conflicts in their homeland, experiences that damaged them for a lifetime. One’s entire life can be poisoned by these nightmares; unfortunately those who are so wounded can inflict harm on the rest of us while trying to resolve their personal demons. Brigitte clearly found home in a community that Ayn Rand had built —- capitalism is the answer to everything, selfishness is the ultimate virtue, and one’s value as a person is tied to one’s net worth.
