Almost feels like what TVTropes would dub an “Author’s Saving Throw,” Marvel trying to use introducing Deadpool as a mulligan to fix a lot of the issues the franchise has run into post-Endgame. It also looks like they’re using him to handwave the introduction of mutants into the MCU.
