First, I don’t deny them the right to compete against men, so please don’t accuse me of that. I think that if a woman wants to try competing in the Mens’ category of any sport, she should be allowed to, and I think that any man who wants to compete in the Womens’ category should be told to fuck off.

Second, in sports where you compete against the clock, or for distance thrown, or weight lifted etc., women in a sense already compete against the men. The stopwatch doesn’t care who’s running in that lane. The weight doesn’t care who lifts it. The shot doesn’t care who puts it.

You need to understand that women are CONSTANTLY trying to beat that time and they’re running on the same tracks, on the same days. If any woman currently competing COULD beat 10.49, she would have already. Nothing, apart from ability, is preventing anyone from doing so.

I don’t know how to say it any more clearly.

Do I believe women might break it in the future? Sure. I also believe that men will continue to improve their record.

In the meantime, I like that women have the opportunity to compete at the highest level against other women, instead of the top women and the men who couldn’t cut it at the top level.
