He is responding to a remark by Stephen Pinker. Pinker’s an asshat, but his observations about Christian bigotry are true.

It wouldn’t be a plague without Christians attacking heretics for not looking to Christ to save them from something that is easily addressed through basic common sense. Wear a mask and keep a distance from others? “Fuck that, I don’t wanna wear a mask or stay away from the bars, I’ll ask God to protect me!”
