Hey, the people the right who think for the most part aren’t the bosses of those who don’t think. I made the point that this Tempest In a Red Cup is stupid last night and I’ll do again I’m sure. But I can’t stop nuts who want to freak out from freaking out.

You can’t but sure as hell the leaders and politicians that make up the GOP could.

But they don’t.

Ask why and you will find the answer. I think it has something to do with knowing you only have support from the outraged and they are only with you when continually outraged.

I give Kasich credit for at least trying to touch on the subject of crazy talk. And, look where it gets him.

I expect Trump to use bit and pieces of Carson stupidity to try to eliminate Carson, but he will still use outrage to keep the GOP base fed. And Trump will use Christmas ‘war’ as a tool too if it gets him where he wants to go.

And there is the issue. They all know what they are doing and they all know they could put a stop to it, but it will cost them, and none of them are prepared to suffer that.

I know it is too much to ask, but maybe our freaking leaders need to do some damn leading instead of outright pandering.

And I’ll step off this 2” high cardboard soapbox know. I gotta get to work…see you all later.
