The reasons for the latest EO are clear: we have Fundamentalist Christians who do not give a fuck about Jews or Judaism, but need to see a strong, resurgent Israel in order to fulfill their apocalyptic End-Times prophecies and kick-start Armageddon.

The EO is there to make it impossible for universities and other institutions to boycott Israel by equating Israel to Judaism.

The logical conclusion of all this is to declare that all Jews are Zionists, all Catholics are Vatican Papists, or all Muslims are Islamists.

But Trump does not think these things through.
