Do you know if they’re testing people who died? My friend in IL thinks they’re miscalculating deaths by being too broad. Her friend died in a motorcycle accident but he had lung issues and his death cert says he died of CV.

I don’t know. I’ve heard CT of that going on, but I think our news media would be jumping up and down if that was a real thing. Tell her to contact a reputable reporter, like one from NPR, and let them research it. How did she get her friend’s death certificate? I suppose a spouse could have shared, but that’s odd.
