While we’re on evolution, I just started reading “Summer for the Gods” by Edward J. Larson. It’s about the Scopes trial, but it includes a lot of background about the gradual acceptance of Darwinism, along with the gradual hardening of fundamentalist opinion against it. I’m enjoying it so far. Has anyone else read it?
