Just got off the phone with my mom. She called asking if I was watching the Bronco game. I told her just about everything I said in this comment. An exchange:

Me: It’s just organized violence.

Mom: You’re absolutely right.

Me: Which is worse? A spousal abuser or a cannabis smoker? Roger Goodell thinks cannabis is worse.

Mom: You’re right. You’re right about that.

Me: Let’s turn all these young men into hamburger for our enjoyment! And let’s let the NFL get away with horrible labor practices!

Mom: Gotta love America.
