The problem I have with these people calling themselves Christian is that I know people who really do work hard at living the teachings of the Christ and yes, I know it’s a minority of us. But where does the “No True Scotsman” fallacy end and where are we allowed to call them out for not being what they claim to be?

It is up to Christians to call them out. It is not up to us heathen hellbound non-believers.

I take a person at his or her word: if that person says “I’m a Christian,” I believe them, unless they are called out by other Christians (that never happens).

A great number of Christians believe that acceptance of the Gospels and Jesus is the sole requirement to be a Christian. They are “saved” because they pray for forgiveness (instead of apologising and making amends).

Ain’t my job to say who is and who isn’t a Christian; it’s Christians’ job to do that.
