again, a lot of GOP strategy was based on voter suppression, either indirectly by creating apathy or indifference or by active voter suppression or fraud

it was the turnout in three key states that gave Trump his EC victory

It was more than just that. trump lived and lives off of a persona that isn’t real. He’s a supposed huge success (he’s not) who’s super smart at everything (he’s not) and was propped up by reality television (that isn’t real). They voted for a personality that was all vaporware. The cult of personality was what gave us trump.

That and 30 years of right wing brainwashing and republican’s attacking and lying about Hillary Clinton for almost as long.
