China is not going to take Russia to task for “recovering” its “lost provinces” as they have similar designs on Taiwan. Once the precedent is set and accepted, then their next move is all the easier.

I think the Chinese know that a full scale amphibious invasion of Taiwan won’t be anything close to easy, unless one thinks D-Day was a cakewalk.
