Or the product of terrible logic, gross naivite, or a ton of ignorance, or something of that sort. It’s not necessarily that they actually compared the facts in the situation and decided to side with the Hamas. Many of them are operating under false assumptions, bad ideas, etc. etc.

A lot of anarchists, for example, are not bad people, even though a lot of the ideas they espouse would, in the real world, lead to awful, awful shit.

It’s just that when you end up running a military blockade under the influence of false assumptions and bad ideas, I tend to think you maybe should have got this all worked out before the boat left harbor.

Also, frankly, pisses me off…not the guys on the Mavi Marmara so much, they went prepared for war and got it…but these other people, the actual pacifists—there’s a reason they don’t do this shit elsewhere in the world. Israel is like Disneyland for these guys, you call them Nazis and challenge their warships and they still have to tow you into dock and release you back to the West.
