re: #197 Fat Bastard Vegetarian

Was talking to a guy at tech support yesterday about how we take technology for granted. He got into my computer from Florida to do a tweak. Right now as I post to this blog, I’m sitting in my living-room streaming Netflix on an LCD Hi-def television, posting with a laptop over a wireless connection.

Most of the things we do on a daily (hourly) basis were un-thinkable to the general public even 30 years ago.

Watch out, they want to take technology, or as we know it as a cell phone, out of your car.

Hands-free or not, the feds say any type of cell phone use is just too dangerous while driving

But the National Transportation Safety Board can’t impose restrictions, so it’s urging every state to adopt such a ban.
