Actually, “Colored” and Asian soldiers, occupying a “favored minority” position analogous to that of the Israeli Druze, did attain commissioned officer rank in the apartheid-era South African military. The success of Colonel Alian is perfectly compatible with the “apartheid Israel” theory. Nice try, though.
