So, checking the forecasts, it looks like Tuesday’s Noreaster is going to be a big one.
Probability maps suggest 90-100% certainty of 12+ inches across a significant portion of the NYC metro area from northern NJ into lower Hudson Valley to CT and including significant parts of NYC proper.
Most of the forecasts are saying 12+ inches, though a few forecasts are suggesting 1-2 feet.
The key will be temperatures. If it’s cold enough, then you get a lighter-weight snowfall with greater accumulations. If it’s warmer, it could be less accumulation, but could mean more downed trees because the snow is heavier.
Either way, it’s gonna be a mess.
Good thing that Trump’s preliminary budget is going to shred the NOAA, EPA, and FEMA.
Because we don’t need to know weather/climate changes, protecting water/air quality, and disaster response.
