I hope the GOP is smart enough to realize what bad politics it will be in an election year for stories of young Americans losing their jobs, educations and even being discharged from the military then deported to countries foreign to them coming out month after month. Their white nationalist base will be furious with them if they enact DACA into law, however.

They explain to their base that the Demon-crats are holding them up, and they’ll get right on that after the next election.

That might work, if their base can be convinced they’ll get what they want (ethnic cleansing) by waiting until after November.
