It looks more and more like Trump tried to use military aid to Ukraine to extort them into assisting his campaign in destroying Joe Biden’s candidacy. And now that they’ve been caught, they’re moving quickly to the “Who cares?” stage where they argue that even if they did blatantly violate the law, nobody (who matters) got hurt and they’ve “made it right” by restoring the military aid, so he should be issued yet another mulligan and the matter dropped.
