Let’s pretend we have a time machine, and go back to sometime around 1970 when the effects of industrial pollution were written of as liberal propaganda, back when I was in grade school.

So many parents were up in arms their children were being brainwashed by the evil public schools to embrace a “tree hugger” agenda. I remember it distinctly. Words like recycling and environment were dismissed as part of the liberal agenda, even back then.

Unfortunately, nothing has changed in 40 years. The environmental pollution continues, as does the outright denial. Until the throngs of deniers are buried up to their neck in filth, mainlining straight chlorine for water, they will refuse to accept it as fact.
