It’ll be interesting to see what position Romney takes on the birther “issue”. Romney is famous for pandering. He seems to regard himself as so righteous, that it’s OK for him to change his positions, because it’s for a good cause (himself). But he’s so famous for pandering, that if he comes out and says there’s a legitimate controversy about Obama’s birthplace, this could be a “pander too far”, and doom his presidential hopes. Romney is probably twisting himself into a pretzel right about now, trying to figure out which position he should take.
