Maybe Romney thought he was making a hard-hitting criticism of Fischer, but it sounded pretty mild. How he can identify himself as a member of the same cause as Fischer, a man who believes that Romney’s religious beliefs aren’t protected by the 1st Amendment, is beyond me.
